The Citrus limon tree is a member of the Rutaceae family and prefers warm and sunny climates to thrive. This medium-szied evergreen tree has slight thorns with a spreading growth and provides an abundance of bright, lemon fruits. It can grow up to 20 ft tall and reach widths of 6 m wide.
Lemon oil has been historically recognized as a cleanser. It reached the height of its fame when the British Navy used lemon to counteract the effects of scurvy. This citrus fruit is energizing, cooling, and promotes mental clarity.
