Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Globulus) is extracted by steam distillation of the wood and leaves of Eucaluptus globulus .

The main constituents of Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Globulus) are:

  • 1,8-Cineole - yields a high herbal aroma

  • α-Pinene - yields a high herbal aroma

  • trans-Pinocarveol - yields a medium herbal aroma

  • para-Cymene - yields a high terpenic aroma

  • Globulol - yields a medium floral aroma

As part of our Simply Pure Promise, all Simply Earth Essential Oils are GC/MS (Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry) tested to verify purity and quality of the oils. GC/MS testing breaks down the essential oil to reveal each of its unique chemical components. Our trained aromatherapist then compares those amounts to the components in a standardized chemical composition for that oil to test if it truly is 100% pure. GC/MS testing will reveal if anything has been added or removed from the oil.

Eucalyptus helps with everything!

From headaches to colds to sore muscles, eucalyptus is my go too oil anytime I'm feeling ill. I received this oil in my Essential Oil Recipe Box and it leaked in transit. Simply Earth sent me a replacement immediately! Great oil and great customer service.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil is currently running in my diffuser in a blend of different oils I am not feeling well and this is really helping to break up the mucus and open up my air ways. I feel like I can finally breathe again. Eucalyptus essential oil has anti-bacterial, anti-viral properties, and antifungal properties and is great for making your own homemade cleaners, adding some to a bath, shower or bath bombs.

Fire & Ice Soy Candle

  • 3 oz soy wax
  • 1 oz sweet almond oil
  • ½ teaspoon Vitamin E
  • 4 oz candle jar
  • Candle wick
  • 10 drops Peppermint essential oil
  • 5 drops Bergamot essential oil
  • 5 drops Eucalyptus essential oil

  1. Prepare your candle tin or jar by fixing the candle wick to the bottom of the tin (you can use glue tabs or a bit of hot wax to hold it in place.)
  2. Put about an inch (2.5cm) of water in the bottom of a medium-sized pot and heat to a low simmer.
  3. Place the soy wax in a large heat-proof glass measuring cup (such as Pyrex). Place the measuring cup in the water and warm slowly over a low heat until the wax is melted.
  4. Pour in the oil, stirring slowly to mix. Don't stir too quickly or you'll end up with air bubbles in your massage oil candles.
  5. Remove from the heat and gently stir in the Vitamin E. Drop in the essential oils and stir some more.
  6. Slowly pour the hot candle massage oil into the tin, making sure the wick stays centered.
  7. Let cool and harden for several hours, then trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (1/2cm). That's it, you're ready to go!
