Color: A medium, clear, colourless to pale yellow liquid.
Description: Balsam Fir Needles are about 3/4 to 1-1/4 inches long with two white stripes running down the underside of each needle.
Blends Well With: Pine, Cedarwood, Benzoin, Lavender, Spruce and Rosemary.
History: Fir Balsam was used in the field during the American Civil War, and before the advent of chewing gum, the gum was sold as a breath-freshening confection.
Use Safely: Generally safe to use. Simply follow instructions to dilute. The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy.
