This Simply Earth diffuser is well-built, made of quality materials, and is simple to operate. Visually, the wood-colored base is convincing, and the transparent dome cover adds a bit of sophistication to the overall look. There are several features that separate this basic diffuser from others in its price-point. Four Function Buttons: Rather than having just 1 or 2 buttons, that you must press alone or in combination to cycle through various light and function options, this diffuser has 4. The beauty of this is that each of the 4 buttons control just one feature each. Much simpler, more efficient, and zero frustration. This is a huge plus for me. Pour-Spout: Sans for the small cap and transparent cover, this diffuser is all one piece, which makes for both easy filling and cleaning. The unit itself is connected to the base and features a built in pour-spout on one side. Not only does this make for easier pouring. Because the pour-spout is located directly opposite the air-intake slot, it also means there is much less chance that water will enter the diffuser while emptying it. Run Time: Height and Length When filled to the max water line, my diffuser runs for an average of 6 hours, sometimes a bit longer. The mist reaches between 16 and 18 inches in height above the diffuser. This is true regardless of whether it has just been filled or is nearly empty. Overall, I am really pleased with it, it is a great little diffuser that I use on a daily basis in my home.
