DIY Lavender Scented Bubbles for Kids

When Summer comes, I love to spend as much time as I can with my kids outdoors. While the outdoors is full of adventures by itself, it can be fun to spice things up with simple activities.

The past couple of months my toddler has learned the joy that bubbles bring. I love watching her reaction, her eyes huge and full of wonder while the bubble is being blown, smiles as it floats through the air, and giggles when it pops. Today I’m sharing with you Gloria’s favorite Scented Bubble Recipe. We use Lavender Essential Oil to add a calming element to the fun, but any of the other essential oils for kids is great for this recipe!

DIY Bubble Wand Ideas

  1. Ring from a jar lid: super easy, and my go-to
  2. Make a ring with your fingers.
  3. Pipe cleaner (or floral wire): create a loop and handle with a pipe cleaner. Add beads to the handle for a fun craft!
  4. Use a wire coat hanger to create big bubbles
  5. Run two straws through a string. Tie the ends of the string together so that it becomes a loop. Use the straws as handles to make bubbles as big as you want!
  6. Tie sting in a circle around two dowels or sticks to make mega bubbles.
