DIY Foot Lotion Recipe with Essential Oil

Whipped Foot Lotion 1

For some odd reason, I’ve always found myself noticing people’s feet. Dry and flaky soles of feet are such a turn off for me. People usually overlook feet because most of us wear closed shoes or we just don’t look closely at people’s feet, but I have always made it a point to try keep mine nice and pretty. For me, since this is one of the most commonly overlooked areas, taking care of them is even more essential.

Although I try my best, it doesn’t necessarily mean that mine are perfect. I love treating and pampering myself to foot spas to get rid of hard calluses and dead skin cells that have camped out on the soles of my feet, but they’re so pricey. I’m pretty sure I can do everything myself at a cheaper price. With the proper ingredients, this recipe for a foot lotion has helped me with my dry soles and keep my feet looking prettier than ever.

The essential oils used in this recipe all work beautifully together to relax and uplift my mood while at the same time achieving baby-smooth feet, just like a foot spa minus the big bucks!

Gradually come to high speed and whip for 3–4 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Place in container. To use, rub on heels to help soften and soothe them

Notes: This works best if whipped in a Kitchenaid mixer. Wait for it to getto the right consistency before whipping. To achieve perfection freeze it, whip it, freeze it and whip it again.

Just like the recipe, soft feet take time to achieve! Remember to slather this whipped lotion on as often as you can to soften them. Rubbing them on at the end of the night just before going to bed and leaving them to absorb overnight makes me the happiest because I wake up to soft feet!
